The holiday season is not just a busy time for buying gifts, but it is also THE time for events, parties, strolls and parades, all of which require a cute new outfit, right!? So, we also wanted to do a little bit more of a breakdown of where to go for what to wear during this time of places to go and people to see:
To get bundled:
Mass Bay Co (Hyannis) with their huge Carhartt stock for men and women (and babies and puppies!) and inner and outer layers you’ll be ready for single digit temps. Also check out the ski and outerwear section at Puritan Cape Cod (Falmouth, Mashpee, Hyannis and Chatham) where you’ll find warm layers from North Face, Patagonia and Barbour for men and women. Mocean in Mashpee Commons also has activewear, flannel, and Uggs for men, women and kids that will keep you warm for this season’s outdoor events.
For the office holiday party:
Chatham Clothing Bar (Chatham) has great dresses and separates that can be dressed up or down for the company party at a local restaurant, bowling alley or community hall. Weekend (Orleans) carries unique and classic pieces that will have your co-workers asking where you got your outfit, Salt (Wellfleet) stocks the designers that create garments that are totally drool-worthy, local design house Devinto (located inside Shift Eco Boutique in Hyannis) produces urban-inspired, chic and wearable outfits, and Artichoke (Eastham) is always good for a fun and flirty dress or top. On a super tight budget? Changing Tides Consignment (Chatham) offers amazing and exciting designer pieces at affordable prices.
To get fancy:
As you know from our Winter Issue, Sposabella Bridal (Hyannis) is our go to spot for when we need to amp it up to semi-formal or formal. They always carry on-trend gowns and cocktail dresses that will make you feel so glamourous every time you put it on! We also love the sparkles, sequins and fringe we always see at Green Eyed Daisy (Falmouth) this time of year.
